1. What cameras will work with
the Picture Yourself (PY), tripod
and timer?
PY works with any of the popular,
standard sized, box type disposable
cameras. The easiest to work with
are the cameras with a flat top
surface. Have we tried them all?
Not yet, but we are working on
it.

2. What cameras do not work
with Picture Yourself?
We have found
that a few of the single use cameras
with non-standard shutters do not
work with PY. Most of the underwater
disposables do not work since they
have casings that alter the shutter
access. Some of the "cheaper"
import cameras that require the
shutter to be depressed a bit farther
then our firing pin travels.

3. Does Picture Yourself work
with other cameras besides disposables?
Picture Yourself
was designed for disposable cameras.
We have customers who have told
us success stories with traditional
and digital cameras, but we haven't
done formal testing on non-disposables.
So we say there is a good chance
it would work, but we can't be sure.

4. What if I want to use a disposable
camera with a traditional camera
tripod?
Sure. PY
allows you to attach a traditional
(tall) tripod. It is possible to
unscrew the PY platform and timer
from its tripod legs. The platform
then can be screwed onto a traditional
camera tripod if desired.

5. Is the Picture Yourself disposable
camera tripod and timer re-useable?
You bet.
The cameras are just used once,
but Picture Yourself can be used
over and over.

6. Is the camera tripod and
timer easy to carry?
Absolutely!
PY weighs only 4 ounces. The tripod
legs detach so it fits in a shirt
pocket, backpack, purse or briefcase.

7. Where can I purchase one?
We are just
launching PY. We hope to have a
huge list of retailers where you
can purchase it. Until then you
can order on-line, print out an
order form and fax/mail it to us,
or call us toll free at 866-943-1800.

8. How much does Picture Yourself
cost?
It's a great
deal. The Picture Yourself camera
tripod / timer retails at $9.95.
If you purchase from us you have
to add $4.85 for postage and handling,
but hey, you don't have to get in
the car. That's something right?
We ship US Priority Mail which makes
it to anywhere in the US in 2-3
days.

9. How far do you wind the timer?
It is meant
to go about 350 degrees. Make sure
you don't over-wind the timer. If
you force it to go further, you
may damage it.

10. When I wind the timer I
find it moves off the shutter.
When you
wind the timer that is attached
to the camera, hold it in place
so you don't affect the alignment
with the camera. Its pretty easy
once you do it a couple of times.

11. Sometimes when I advance
the film I take a picture accidentally.
The strap
is probably too tight. The strap
should be snug, but not overly tight.
(If it's too tight it might cause
the picture to be snapped when you
advance the film).

12. How can I quickly attach
the timer to the camera?
Quick alignment
of the timer and the camera shutter
comes with practice. A popular method
is putting the legs of the tripod
against your body when you align
the timer and the shutter. This
way you have a good view of the
timer and shutter while the tripod
is in a sturdy postion.

13. The camera I have seems smaller than the normal disposable.
Should I do anything different?
If the camera
is of the small variety, you can
remove the strap and reinsert it
in the middle opening on the platform
rather than on the edge. Try different
configurations of the strap. See
what works best for you.
